If you use Firefox or Chrome, we developed an easy way you can help people bypass censorship.

Our Snowflake extension turns your browser into a proxy that connects Tor users in censored regions to the Tor network. https://snowflake.torproject.org/
I'll never remember to turn extensions on, but if there's a service for it, I can crontab it to go on while I'm sleeping, just like for torrenting.
I just installed it and try it out now.Seems to work, haven't got any error message so far but there are no users yet.Does it work if the browser I installed it in is configured to connect to the internet using Tor or does it need a direct connection?
Given that the label says "Turn Off" and the toggle is set to "true", does that mean that it is currently *not* proxying?
#LB c'est PAS un flocon de neige avec cette symétrie 8 :grr:

only a few people are using snowflake now : https://metrics.torproject.org/userstats-bridge-transport.html?start=2019-04-18&end=2020-07-17&transport=snowflake
Could you explain why ? Maybe is it only in the alpha branch of the TOR Browser ?
doesn't seem to work on icecatmobile
this needs WebRTC turned on to work.

anybody who uses a VPN will disable this in their browser. i know i did.
